GEO ALLIANCE Group took part in the 5^th International Oil and Gas Conference held by Newfolk OGCC as a partner of the strategic session. The event took place in Lviv during two days – May 31 and June 1. Our Commercial Director Tengiz Mustafaev took the floor in the first block of the programme. He spoke about the partnership and development of GEO ALLIANCE Group and service companies in the Ukrainian oil and gas market.

Mr Mustafaev shared our view on the service market in Ukraine’s oil and gas industry, on partnership and future development. He stated that all the processes in companies’ core activities were based on three main principles – partnership, balance and health & safety.

The first principle is partnership. It is important because a customer’s success is impossible without a contractor’s success and vice versa. This understanding will allow us to move forward, and in doing so, to develop the oil and gas industry in our country.

The second principle is balance. The oil and gas market is developing actively. Demand for contractors’ services has increased. This tendency may lead to service overpricing and weaken the ambition for development. These processes should be well-balanced, i.e. service prices for service businesses should correspond to the quality of the work done.

Tengiz Mustafaev paid particular attention to the last principle, HSE:

“Nothing matters more in our business than health & safety. It is the reputation of both the customer and the contractor. We always make HSE our top priority in the activities because a person’s life and safety is the most precious thing.”

Summing up, the speaker said: “Future development of Ukraine’s oil and gas industry depends on all those involved and on the government support for the industry.”
