Supporting medicine is one of the important areas of GEO ALLIANCE Group’s social activities. As known, the Group’s main production is currently concentrated in Lokhvytsia district of Poltava region; therefore, we are involved with the community at all times and show initiative in addressing pressing issues of the local population.

This time aid was provided to the Lokhvytsia Central District Hospital. PrJSC NATURAL RESOURCES from GEO ALLIANCE Group allocated almost UAH 2 mln to purchase special equipment for the healthcare facility.

Valeria Janchenko, our Group’s representative, notes that PrJSC NATURAL RESOURCES has regularly supported the community of Lokhvytsia district:

“When we were having yet another conversation with Volodymyr Ryazanov, Chairman of the Lokhvytsia District State Administration, we asked him what social aid the population of the district needed. One of the first things he mentioned was support of the District Hospital.

Earlier, the Company signed an agreement on the participation in integrated social and economic development of Lokhvytsia district. Under the agreement the Hospital received 75 medical tilting beds. They were equipped with side rails and proper mattresses. Also, we bought 75 bedside tables which can easily be moved around and used as over-bed tables. In addition, the healthcare facility now has two new gurneys for transportation of patients and 10 hospital bed trapezes with clamps.”

Chief Medical Officer of the Lokhvytsia Central District Hospital Viktor Burley comments:

“The hospital beds have not been replaced since the commissioning in 1964. Therefore, such assistance comes in very handy for the facility. Both we and our patients are very grateful for the support provided by the gas producer.”

In turn, Valeria Janchenko, GEO ALLIANCE Group’s representative pointed out:

“Since the beginning of the year, the budget of the district and respective village councils has received direct royalty payments. So the more hydrocarbons the company produces here, the more help the population will get. I hope that now it will become possible to renovate the hospital and, crucially, to purchase new up-to-date equipment. This is doable with the royalty payments.
